The hotel was located a bit further back, close to where we needed to be, and the rooms left a lot to be desired with a terrible smell. The service was a mix of friendly but intrusive behavior, even walking in without knocking at 7 pm, and forgetting to charge for things. The location, though a bit on the bad side of town, was larger and cleaner than expected. The dining experience, while offering Texas-shaped waffles and free breakfast, was not as varied as hoped, and the limited choices were a letdown.

The hotel was a great place to stay, with very quiet rooms and a lack of neighbor or highway noise inside; however, it did not have an iron available. It is a wonderful location near Lackland AFB but lacks a bit in the dining experience with limited options.
